Sime Motors Kia Taiwan Champions “Care for All” to Build a Thriving Workplace Culture

Sime Motors Kia Taiwan recently rolled out the “Care for All” program to strengthen its focus on employees’ health and well-being. The initiative aims to raise health awareness and embed a culture of care within the organisation, creating a safe, healthy and vibrant workplace where people can thrive. The “Care for All” program focuses on three key areas – safety, health and culture.

Managing Director of Sime Motors Taiwan, Joseph Lau shared “Care for All reflects our belief that well-being is more than a priority—it’s a responsibility. By nurturing health and encouraging mutual support, we aim to create a workplace where every individual feels valued, cared for and empowered to succeed.”

The initiatives outlined under the Care for All program include first aid certification training, employees’ fitness experience, eat well and cultivating health-conscious culture.
 
First Aid Certification Training
To strengthen workplace safety, Sime Motors Kia Taiwan organised a first aid certification courses for employees. The session equipped staff with essential emergency response skills and heightened safety awareness to ensure they can respond promptly in critical situations and provide care to their family members, colleagues and customers.

Get Fit and Sweat it Out
In partnership with Fitness Factory and World Gym, employees participated in fitness sessions led by professional trainers to learn proper exercise techniques while fostering team spirit. For many first-time participants, the experience was both enjoyable and refreshing. They not only mastered new techniques but also supported one another through challenges, creating an atmosphere of encouragement and camaraderie. These sessions left employees feeling energised—both physically and mentally, inspire them to develop a habit of daily exercise and embrace a healthier lifestyle.

“The moves were simple, nothing too hard but they sure got us moving. I enjoyed how the coaches included fun interactive moments that brought everyone together”, said Rebecca Wu, Head of People Experience & Administration at Sime Motors Kia Taiwan.

In making ‘care’ a part of everyday life, the 2026 ‘Success Journal’ was introduced to help employees set and achieve goals across eight key areas—interpersonal relationships, professional development, financial well-being, social contribution, family life, physical and mental health, leisure and personal growth. The journal also encourages employees to reflect on their emotions and experiences throughout the process.
