Performance Motors Limited Join Forces with Food from the Heart to Support Children and Families Across Singapore

Nearly 60 dedicated volunteers from Sime Motors’ Performance Motors Limited (PML) came together in a meaningful partnership with Food from the Heart (FFTH) to support vulnerable children and families across Singapore.

The initiative was led by Mr. Lawrence Tan, Managing Director of PML at the homegrown charity’s central warehouse. Joining the volunteers on the ground were Preeti Gupta and Nicholas Low from BMW Asia.

The volunteers were warmly received by Mr. Robin C. Lee, Chief Executive Officer of FFTH, before being divided into teams to take on two key tasks: sorting and packing food items and delivering them directly to households in need.

At the warehouse, the PML team worked tirelessly alongside FFTH staff to check expiry dates, label food items appropriately, and assemble them into Community Food Packs and School Goodie Bags, embracing the spirit of teamwork and shared purpose.

PML’s delivery teams set out across the island to distribute the School Goodie Bags—each weighing between 18 to 20 kilograms and filled with essential items such as milk, rice, and eggs—directly to the doorsteps of over 100 households with preschool children.

The initiative reflects Sime Motors’ broader commitment to making a positive impact on the communities where it operates.
