SDRAC or Hertz Malaysia is proud to participate at the Minggu Saham Amanah Malaysia (MSAM) 2024, organised by Permodalan Nasional Berhad (PNB) as part of the Sime Darby Group. The 4-day event themed 'Bijak Melabur, Santai Berhibur,' attracted over 100,000 visitors at Setia City Convention Centre, Shah Alam.
The team showcased a wide range of mobility solutions, from leasing packages to EV rental offerings. The event also welcomed Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, accompanied by Sime Darby Berhad’s Group CEO, Datuk Jeffri Salim Davidson, PNB’s Chairman, Raja Tan Sri Dato' Seri Arshad Raja Tun Uda, and PNB’s President and Group CEO, Datuk Abdul Rahman Ahmad during the opening ceremony.
The team showcased a wide range of mobility solutions, from leasing packages to EV rental offerings. SDRAC launched its highly anticipated Frontlines Enhancement Programme, officiated by Dennis Ho, Managing Director of Assembly and Strategic Businesses, Sime Darby Motors, witnessed by Zahidah Akmal Ghazali, Head of People Experience, Motors Division, along with Ahmad Razif, Head of People Experience, Assembly and Strategic Businesses, Haji Harun Mohd Joned, Managing Director of SDRAC, and Nahar Hakimy, Chief Operating Officer of SDRAC.
This comprehensive programme is tailored to identify, develop and accelerate the growth of high-potential individuals across all regions and levels, fostering a supportive and dynamic environment where talent can thrive. Participants will gain access to diverse learning opportunities aimed at strengthening frontline capabilities through jobs redesign and targeted trainings, enhancing operational efficiency and providing clear career development paths to help them reach their full potential.

Congratulations to Lim Kee Shing, Head of Marketing at SDRAC, for receiving the Yayasan Sime Darby (YSD) Volunteer Championship Award. This award honours individuals who go above and beyond in leading impactful volunteer programs and activities.
The YSD Volunteer Awards Ceremony celebrated the contributions of 6,971 volunteers from SD Guthrie, Sime Darby Berhad and Sime Darby Property. Together, these volunteers dedicated over 60,000 hours to community service and environmental protection initiatives through the YSD Huluran Kasih and YSD Eco Citizen programs.

Hertz Malaysia expressed its gratitude to the Malaysian Green Technology and Climate Change Corporation (MGTC) for inviting Hertz Malaysia as the exclusive car rental service provider at the SDG Summit 2024, which was launched by Prime Minister Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim in KLCC on 17 to 18 September 2024.
