Marking the end of an era and the start of an exciting new chapter, our Sime Motors New Zealand team officially farewelled the Hornby site,shared with Terra Cat for nearly 55 years. Once the Gough Group family headquarters, the site has been a cornerstone of our history. We are now celebrating the opening our new joint support office at Waterloo Business Park.

Finally settled into the new homes, the TWL, Volvo Trucks New Zealand, Mack Trucks New Zealand, Truckstops and the Distribution Centre teams led the move, followed by Palfinger New Zealand, Hino NZ and EAPS who joined after.

The new building was officiated by Sime Group’s CEO Dato’ Jeffri Davidson, alongside Sime Motors NZ Managing Director Pat McKenna and Terra Cat NZ CEO Chris Heaton. This opening unites Sime Motors New Zealand and Sime Industrial's Terra Cat operations under one roof, fostering a more collaborative and future-ready workspace in New Zealand.
