The newly established Performance Motors Malaysia will oversee the operations and management of two BMW dealerships in Mutiara Damansara and Puchong, and a MINI dealership in Bangsar.

In Malaysia, Sime Motors has represented the BMW brand for nearly 40 years through Auto Bavaria, serving as one of the authorised dealers for BMW, MINI and BMW Motorrad vehicles. Recently, Auto Bavaria was named the BMW Excellence Club Award Champion for the 14th consecutive year at the 2025 BMW Dealer Awards Night, the highest recognition by BMW Malaysia on its dealer network.

Performance Motors Malaysia will operate alongside Auto Bavaria to deliver bespoke ownership experience from retail to aftersales and spare parts to customers. The team will be supported by highly skilled and experienced professionals, bringing years of expertise and dedication to the established dealerships in Mutiara Damansara, Puchong and Bangsar. Both dealer partners are poised to deliver the highest level of customer care and support, in line with the global standards of the BMW and MINI brands.

Sime Motors was first appointed as the sole importer and distributor of BMW cars and motorcycles in Hong Kong and Macau in 1968. Performance Motors is an established brand of Sime Motors, representing BMW in several markets.
 
In Singapore, Performance Motors Limited (PML) has been instrumental in solidifying BMW’s position as a premium automotive brand in the region. Through its unwavering commitment to automotive excellence, PML was recognised as the number one premium brand in 2024 by the Land Transport Authority (LTA). PML recently unveiled BMW Retail.Next, creating a new lifestyle hub for BMW owners and setting new standards in customer experience from pre-sales to aftersales at its flagship showroom in Alexandra Road.

Performance Motors Thailand has also established itself as a key partner to BMW. Its presence in Thailand grew in 2024 with the opening of a full-fledged showroom in Ayutthaya, providing comprehensive products and services to Thai customers. At the 2024 Motor Expo, Performance Motors Thailand was recognised by BMW Group Thailand with two Dealer Sustainability Awards for its outstanding contribution to CO2 reduction and employee engagement.
 
Meanwhile, Performance Motors Indonesia, our authorised BMW dealership in Indonesia commemorated the groundbreaking of a 3S dealership centre in December 2024, making it the first for any premium automotive brand in Sentul province. This new centre is designed to offer a luxurious yet accessible experience to our growing customer base in the country.
