Groundbreaking Models take Hong Kong auto owners to a new era of e-mobility
XPENG and Sime Darby Motors host its inaugural auto showcase from now until May 19, 2024 at Ocean Terminal Main Concourse, Harbour City. The event brings three groundbreaking models. Making a debut at the event is XPENG’s value-for-money, pure-electric SUV, G6. Launched in Mainland just last year, its presale reached 35,000 vehicles, creating a new trend nation-wide. The brand’s flagship 7-seater X9 breaks away from conventions of MPVs and reveals a brand-new experience for family travelling, thanks to its futuristic design and the much-anticipated Flying Car, a symbol of China’s undisputed advancements and amalgamation of smart cars and modern aviation.

With the One for One Replacement scheme, XPENG G6’s indicative price will be HKD299,900* (standard range battery) and HKD349,900* (long range battery). Reservations can be made at the auto show at Harbour City or on the official XPENG Hong Kong website. The first batch of right-hand G6s are expected to be delivered in Q3 2024. Indicative price of XPENG X9 will be within HKD500,000* before tax. Sime Darby Motors will also be offering a plethora of after-sales services to XPENG car owners. This include maintenance services for 5 years/within 120,000km; optional vehicle warranty extension (in line with the original warranty entitlement); power battery and motor warranty of 8 years/160,000km and discounts at Kineta e-charging ports.

Inaugural Pop-Up follows Today’s Showcase, plus XPENG Showrooms in Q3
As XPENG dives into the Hong Kong market with a myriad strategic plan to enhance Hong Kong auto owners’ understanding and confidence for the brand, XPENG will host a Pop Up shop from May 20 to July 1 at D-Park in Tsuen Wan to showcase its groundbreaking models – the SUV G6 and flagship seven-seater X9. The Pop-Up shop is followed by XPENG’s showroom launch in Yuen Long and Wan Chai in Q3 2024 for more auto enthusiasts to get a first-hand experience for its revered inventions. As XPENG’s official distributor in Hong Kong, Sime Darby Motors’ maintenance and delivery centre in Shek Mun, Sha Tin will also be in full operation by Q3 2024.
